Food
The series that broke it open. In 2022 a run of short-form food films crossed 100 million views and rewrote what a Pakistani creator could do with sixty seconds and a plate of karahi.

and yes, I actually say it every time “Dhaado mazo aayo” — had a lot of fun
I left a safe job in 2015 to point a camera at my own country. Everyone said it wasn’t a career. Ten years and two and a half million people later, it’s a production house.

2015. Safe salary, business degree from Bahria, the whole plan my family had signed off on. Then I watched Casey Neistat make a life out of a camera and thought: why not here? Why not me? Nobody in my house thought this was a job. Honestly, neither did most of the country.
So I built the thing that didn’t exist. Hamza Bhatti Productions — Pakistan’s first creator-first production house. Not an agency pretending to understand creators. A studio run by one.
The greatest championship in life is to inspire others.
Kobe — the line I work by
Then it got strange in the best way. I won Faces2Hearts, the EU’s worldwide vlogging competition, and ended up running digital communications for the European Commission’s delegation to Pakistan for three and a half years. In 2022 I made a food series that crossed 100 million views — and then watched half the country start making it too. Good. That was the point.
Two TEDx talks, a Tamgha-e-Ansaar, three Creator of the Year titles, 95+ brands. None of it changes the job. I still want a kid in Rawalpindi to watch something of mine and think: I could do that too.

The everyday, painted the way Pakistan actually paints it — loud, warm, generous, and never apologising for any of it. God first, family close, camera rolling.

I never called them followers. Followers scroll past. These are the people who show up in the comments before the video finishes uploading, who send the restaurant recommendation, who recognise me at a petrol pump in Rawalpindi and say the line back to me before I can.
