The phone in your pocket. That’s the answer. I’m not being cute — the food series that crossed 100 million views was not shot on anything that would impress you.
What actually matters, in order: light, sound, and whether the first three seconds are worth staying for. Gear is fourth, and it’s a distant fourth.
When you genuinely outgrow the phone — and you will know, because you’ll be losing shots you can already picture — the used market in Pakistan is your friend. Buy the older body and the better lens, never the other way round.
